FRONT STABILIZER BAR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL STABILIZER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. for LH side:


      1. Install the 2 bolts, 2 spring washers and stabilizer bracket sub-assembly.

        Torque:
        76 N*m  { 775 kgf*cm, 56 ft.*lbf }

    2. for RH side:


      1. Install the nut, 2 bolts, 2 spring washers and stabilizer bracket sub-assembly.

        Torque:
        76 N*m  { 775 kgf*cm, 56 ft.*lbf }

  2. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CH9W

      Temporarily install the front stabilizer link sub-assembly, 4 front stabilizer bar cushion bar retainers and 2 front stabilizer bar cushions to the stabilizer bracket sub-assembly with a new nut.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSHING

      Install the 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushings to the outer side of the identification marks on the front stabilizer bar.

      Note

      Make sure that the seam of the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushing is facing towards the front.

  4. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR


    1. Install the 4 front stabilizer bushings to the right and left No. 2 stabilizer brackets.

    2. Install the front stabilizer end bracket LH and front stabilizer end bracket RH, and then insert the 2 bolts and temporarily install the 2 nuts and 2 spring washers.

      Note

      Make sure the front stabilizer end bracket RH is positioned closer to the outside of the vehicle.

      *c Stopper

      Insert the front stabilizer bolt from the front stabilizer end bracket RH side, align the bolt with the position of the stopper and install the nut and spring washer.

      Torque:
      79 N*m  { 806 kgf*cm, 58 ft.*lbf }

    4. Tighten the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      76 N*m  { 775 kgf*cm, 56 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure described for the RH side.

  5. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH


    1. Install the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH to the front stabilizer link sub-assembly with 2 new nuts.

      Torque:
      46 N*m  { 469 kgf*cm, 34 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the RH side.

  7. TIGHTEN FRONT STABILIZER LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Tighten the nut.

      Torque:
      17 N*m  { 168 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }
