RADIATOR GRILLE REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR


    1. Using an infrared light, heat the double-sided adhesive tape remaining on the radiator grille.

      Note

      Do not burn yourself with the heated radiator grille or infrared light.

      Tech Tips

      Heat at 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) for 1 to 2 minutes.

    2. Rub the remaining double-sided adhesive tape to remove it from the radiator grille.

      Note


      • Do not use a screwdriver to remove the double-sided adhesive tape, or the surface may be scratched, causing adhesion failure.

      • Any double-sided adhesive tape remaining on the radiator grille when installing the radiator grille protector may cause adhesion failure. Therefore, completely remove any double-sided adhesive tape remaining on the radiator grille.

    3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    4. Remove the release paper from a new radiator grille protector.

      Install the radiator grille protector to the radiator grille.

  2. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE ORNAMENT


    1. Clean the radiator grille surface.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille surface.

        Note

        Do not burn yourself with the heated radiator grille or infrared light.

        Tech Tips

        Heat at 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) for 1 to 2 minutes.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the radiator grille.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

        • Any double-sided adhesive tape remaining on the radiator grille when installing the radiator grille protector may cause adhesion failure. Therefore, completely remove any double-sided adhesive tape remaining on the radiator grille.

    2. Clean the ornament. (If reusing the ornament)


      1. Using a heat light, heat the ornament.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the ornament.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      4. Apply new double-sided tape to the ornament.

    3. Install the ornament.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille and ornament.

      2. Remove the release paper from the new ornament.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.
