FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Seat without Suspension Type Seat Cushion) REASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT STAND FRAME REINFORCE


    1. Temporarily install the front seat stand frame reinforce with the 2 bolts.

  2. INSTALL SEAT TRACK HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01CIPW

      Attach the 2 claws to install the seat track handle sub-assembly LH.

    2. Operate the seat track handle sub-assembly LH and move the front outer seat track assembly LH and front inner seat track assembly LH so that the locks are centered.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

      Install the 2 front seat cushion protectors.

  4. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    2. Install the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly to the separate type front seat cushion pad.

      Attach the hooks.

    4. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly with new hog rings.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      Bend the 2 separate type front seat cushion spring assembly claws downward.

  5. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CGRB

      Install the separate type front seat cushion assembly with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 185 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

    2. Attach the 2 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

    3. Tighten the 2 bolts of the front seat stand frame reinforce.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 185 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING


    1. A01CJF7

      Install the front seat cushion spring as shown in the illustration.

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HINGE PIN BUSH


    1. A01CGWS

      Install the front seat hinge pin bush as shown in the illustration.

  8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER RH


    1. A01CHK7

      Install the front seat hinge cover RH as shown in the illustration.

  9. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH


    1. Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.

  10. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR


    1. Remove the front No. 2 seatback edge protector remaining on the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

      Install a new front No. 2 seatback edge protector as shown in the illustration.

  11. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR


    1. Install the front seatback edge protector to the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  12. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the separate type front seatback spring assembly to the separate type front seatback pad.

  13. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the separate type front seatback cover.

  14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily install the separate type front seatback assembly with the 2 bolts and nut.

    2. Tighten the 2 bolts and nut.

      Torque:
      for Bolt
      40 N*m  { 410 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }
      for Nut
      13 N*m  { 130 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    A01CIR5E01

    1. Install the front seat inner belt assembly LH to the front seat assembly LH with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding part of the front seat assembly LH.

      Pass the wire harness through the back side of the front seat assembly LH and attach the 2 wire harness clamps to connect the wire harness to the front seat assembly LH.

  16. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER LH


    1. Attach the guide to install the reclining adjuster cover LH.

    2. Install the screw.

  17. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

      Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle LH.
