FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Seat with Suspension Type Seat Cushion) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Connect the connector.

    3. A01CJ1R

      Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Note

      Be sure to install the side seat belt assembly together with the inner bolt on the rear of the seat.

    4. Operate the seat track handle sub-assembly LH and move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position.

      Note

      Make sure that the seat is locked.

    5. Tighten the inner bolt on the front of the seat, and then tighten the outer bolt on the front of the seat.

      Torque:
      39 N*m  { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }

    6. Operate the seat track handle sub-assembly LH and move the front seat assembly to the foremost position.

      Note

      Make sure that the seat is locked.

    7. Tighten the outer bolt on the rear of the seat, and then tighten the inner bolt on the rear of the seat to install the front seat assembly.

      Torque:
      39 N*m  { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER RH


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the seat track cover RH.
