FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER


    1. A01VFQJ

      Turn the front bumper hole cover and disengage the 3 claws.

    2. Disengage the hook to remove the front bumper hole cover.

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01VKCB

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01VFYU

      Disengage the 27 claws and 2 guides to remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH (for 1KR-FE)


    1. A01VLPK

      Disengage the 3 claws to remove the front bumper side seal RH.

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE LOWER MOULDING LH


    1. A01VJKF

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 6 claws and guide to remove the radiator grille lower moulding LH.

  5. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE LOWER MOULDING RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01VLOQ

      Remove the clip.

    2. A01VG1M

      Disengage the 11 claws to remove the radiator grille.

  7. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL


    1. A01VEXI

      Disengage the 14 clips to remove the hood to radiator grille seal.

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM


    1. A01VM0B

      Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides to remove the radiator grill (or front panel) emblem.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOULDING COVER


    1. A01VFLR

      Disengage the 9 claws to remove the front bumper moulding cover.

  10. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)

  11. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)

      Disengage the 5 claws to remove the fog light cover LH.

  13. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)


    1. A01VLGW

      Disengage the 5 claws to remove the fog light cover LH.

  15. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  18. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A01VIPR

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front bumper side retainer LH.

  19. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  20. SEPARATE THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VM22

      Disengage the 2 clamps to separate the thermistor assembly.

  21. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER


    1. A01VFWX

      Remove the 4 clips and radiator support opening cover.

  22. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION LH


    1. A01VKJF

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the radiator support extension LH.

  23. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  24. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL


    1. A01VLID

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 2 radiator side air seal.

  25. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 radiator side air seal side.

  26. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A01VFQW

      Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  27. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION

      *a Double-sided Tape

      Disengage the clamp and 2 claws.

    2. Pull out the front bumper reinforcement extension, and then remove the front bumper reinforcement extension while peeling off the double-sided tape.

  28. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

      Disengage the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.

    2. A01VKAW

      Remove the 6 bolts.

    3. Remove the 4 nuts and front bumper reinforcement.

  29. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 BUMPER STONE DEFLECTOR BRACKET


    1. A01VM03

      Remove the 2 nuts and front No. 1 bumper stone deflector bracket.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for the opposite side.

  30. SEPARATE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VJ6K

      Remove the bolt and separate the windshield washer jar assembly.

  31. REMOVE FRONT SIDE MEMBER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01VIDV

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front side member bracket sub-assembly LH.

  32. REMOVE FRONT SIDE MEMBER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  33. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VHBJ

      Remove the 6 screws, 6 clips and grommet.

    2. A01VIMP

      Disengage the 3 hooks to remove the front bumper energy absorber sub-assembly.
