  • Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT


    1. A0046RW

      Remove the 2 screws and rear bumper side support.

  2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT PACKING


    1. A0048GJ

      Remove the rear combination light packing.

      Note


      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old packing from the vehicle body.

      • Do not reuse the removed packing. Be sure to install a new rear combination light body packing to prevent water ingress.

  3. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

      Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the rear turn signal light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove them.

    2. Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A0049DM

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.
