REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY(for Bulb Type Stop Light) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

   INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

   
   
   1. 

      Disconnect the connector from the rear combination light assembly LH.

      *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Rear Combination Light Assembly LH)

   2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K37-4 - K37-6 Light control switch OFF Below 1 V Light control switch in TAIL 11 to 14 V K37-1 - K37-6 Brake pedal released Below 1 V Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V K37-2 - K37-6 Turn signal switch OFF Below 1 V Ignition switch ON and Turn signal switch in LH 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute) K37-5 - K37-6 Shift lever not in R Below 1 V Shift lever in R 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

   INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

      Disconnect the connector from the rear combination light assembly RH.

   2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K38-4 - K38-6 Light control switch OFF Below 1 V Light control switch in TAIL 11 to 14 V K38-1 - K38-6 Brake pedal released Below 1 V Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V K38-2 - K38-6 Turn signal switch OFF Below 1 V Ignition switch ON and Turn signal switch in RH 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute) K38-5 - K38-6 Shift lever not in R Below 1 V Shift lever in R 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.
