PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.

    5. According to the display on the intelligent tester, perform the Active Test.

    INSPECT RUNNING LIGHT RELAY (DRL/S-HORN RELAY)


    1. Remove the running light relay (DRL/S-HORN relay).

    2. Inspect the running light relay (DRL/S-HORN relay) (Click here).

      REPLACE RUNNING LIGHT RELAY (DRL RELAY)

  3. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RUNNING LIGHT RELAY - BATTERY)


    1. B0048CME02

      Remove the running light relay (DRL/S-HORN relay) from the No. 2 engine room relay block.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      DRL-1 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      DRL-3 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

      REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RUNNING LIGHT RELAY - MAIN BODY ECU)


    1. Remove the running light relay (DRL/S-HORN relay) from the No. 2 engine room relay block.

    2. Disconnect the F76 main body ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      DRL-2 - F76-15 (DRLE) Always Below 1 Ω
      DRL-2 or F76-15 (DRLE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
