WIPER ECU REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for RHD)


    1. w/o Knee Airbag:


      1. B0047R6

        Disengage the 2 clips and the 6 claws and remove the instrument panel finish panel.

  8. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  9. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER RELAY ASSEMBLY

      *1 Instrument Panel Reinforcement Assembly

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the bolt.

    3. Disengage the guide and remove the windshield wiper relay.
