LIGHTING SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

2. Turn the light control switch to the AUTO position.

3. Cover the light control sensor.

4. Check that the taillights and low beam headlights come on.

5. Uncover the light control sensor.

6. Check that the low beam headlights and taillights go off.

LIGHT AUTO TURN-OFF SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

1. When light control switch in AUTO position.

   
   

   1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

   2. Turn the taillights, headlights, rear fog lights and front fog lights*1 on.

   3. Turn the ignition switch off.

   4. Check that all of lights go off immediately.

2. When light control switch in TAIL or HEAD position.

   
   

   1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

   2. Turn the taillights, headlights, rear fog lights and front fog lights*1 on.

   3. Turn the ignition switch off.

   4. Check that the headlights and front fog lights*1 go off immediately.

      *1: w/ Fog Light

DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

1. Turn the light control switch off.

2. Start the engine.

3. Parking brake switch off.

4. Check that the daytime running lights come on.

5. Turn on the taillights, clearance lights and license plate lights while the daytime running lights are on.

6. Check that the daytime running lights turn off.

FOLLOW ME HOME SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

1. Turn the light control switch off or to AUTO position.

2. Turn the ignition switch off.

3. Pull the dimmer switch to flash the headlights once.

4. Check that the low beam headlights come on for a certain period.

BATTERY SAVER SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

1. With the ignition switch off, turn the light control switch to AUTO or HEAD to illuminate the taillights, headlights, rear fog lights and front fog lights*1.

2. Check that the taillights, headlights, rear fog lights and front fog lights*1 turn off when the doors and the light control switch remain in the same condition for 20 minutes or more.
