REAR WIPER MOTOR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Wiper Motor Assembly)

      Check the rear wiper motor operation.

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the rear wiper motor.

         Specified Condition
         Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 4 (+B) Battery negative (-) → 3 (LS) Battery negative (-) → 5 (E) Rear wiper motor operates.

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear wiper motor.

   2. Check the intermittent operation.

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the rear wiper motor.

         Specified Condition
         Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 4 (+B) Battery negative (-) → 2 (C1) Battery negative (-) → 5 (E) Rear wiper motor operates intermittently.

         Standard
         Rear wiper motor operates intermittently for 9 to 15 seconds.

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear wiper motor.
