REAR CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY (w/ Ashtray)

  2. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 5MT)


    1. A01VFSB

      Turn the shift lever knob sub-assembly counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 6MT)


    1. A01VJ6T

      Turn the shift lever knob sub-assembly counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 5MT)


    1. A01VDRV

      Disengage the 6 claws to remove the shifting hole cover sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 6MT)


    1. A01VDRW

      Disengage the 6 claws and remove the shifting hole cover subassembly.

  6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER


    1. A01VGEY

      Disengage the 5 claws and clip.

    2. Disengage the guide and pull out the rear console box cover as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disconnect the connectors to remove the rear console box cover.

  7. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET


    1. A01VEFE

      Remove the console box carpet.

  8. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VISZ

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the 2 clips and guide to remove the rear console box assembly.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the lower instrument panel when removing it.
