REAR CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY (w/ Ashtray)

  2. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 5MT)


    1. A01VGHV

      Turn the shift lever knob counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob.

  3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 6MT)


    1. A01VG6J

      Turn the shift lever knob counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob.

  4. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 5MT)


    1. A01VDOM

      Disengage the 6 claws and remove the shifting hole cover.

  5. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 6MT)


    1. A01VK50

      Disengage the 6 claws and remove the shifting hole cover as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER


    1. A01VJ8K

      Disengage the 6 claws.

    2. Disengage the guide and pull out the rear console box cover as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disconnect the connectors from the rear console box cover.

  7. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VGG1

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the 2 clips and guide and remove the rear console box.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the lower instrument panel when removing it.
