REAR CONSOLE BOX INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Engage the guide and 2 clips and install the rear console box assembly.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the lower instrument panel when installing it.

   2. Install the bolt.

2. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET

   
   

   1. Install the console box carpet.

3. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER

   
   

   1. Connect the connectors.

   2. 

      Engage the guide and install the rear console box cover as shown in the illustration.

   3. Engage the 6 claws and install the rear console box cover.

4. INSTALL FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY (w/ Ashtray)

5. INSTALL SHIFTING HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Integrated Console Box Type)

   
   

   1. for 5MT:

      
      

      1. Engage the 6 claws and install the shifting hole cover sub-assembly.

   2. 

      for 6MT:

      
      

      1. Engage the 6 claws and install the shifting hole cover sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

6. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Separate Console Box Type)

   
   

   1. 

      for 5MT:

      
      

      1. Engage the 5 claws, 2 clips and guide and install the rear console box sub-assembly.

         Tech Tips

         Install the rear console box sub-assembly in the order shown in the illustration.

         Note

         Be careful not to damage the lower instrument panel when installing it.

   2. 

      for 6MT:

      
      

      1. Engage the 5 claws, 2 clips and guide and install the rear console box sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

         Tech Tips

         Install the rear console box sub-assembly in the order shown in the illustration.

         Note

         Be careful not to damage the lower instrument panel when installing it.

7. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 5MT)

   
   

   1. 

      Turn the shift lever knob sub-assembly clockwise and install the shift lever knob sub-assembly onto the shift lever.

8. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 6MT)

   
   

   1. 

      Turn the shift lever knob sub-assembly clockwise and install the shift lever knob sub-assembly onto the shift lever.
