CONDENSER(except 1ND-TV) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR

  5. REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VKKI

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. A01VM1O

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. A01VGIQ

      Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

    4. A01VIOO

      Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the hood lock control cable.

    5. A01VHUA

      Remove the 4 bolts and the radiator support.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER


    1. A01VF92

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the cooler cover.

  7. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE (for TMC Made)


    1. A01VKGF

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the cooler condenser.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  8. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE (for TMMF Made)


    1. A01VKQF

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the cooler condenser.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  9. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A


    1. A01VIQ7

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the liquid tube from the cooler condenser.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the liquid tube

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  10. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VIAH

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the cooler condenser.

      Note

      Do not damage the condenser or radiator when removing the cooler condenser.
