PROCEDURE
RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
for HFC-134a (R134a):
for HFO-1234yf (R1234yf):
REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
REMOVE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR
REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the connector.
Disengage the clamp and the wire harness.
Disengage the 2 clamps to disconnect the hood lock control cable sub-assembly.
Remove the 4 bolts and radiator upper support sub-assembly.
REMOVE FRONT RADIATOR SIDE AIR GUIDE PLATE RH
DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE
Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the cooler condenser assembly.
Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
Note
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.
DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY B
Remove the bolt to disconnect the liquid tube sub-assembly B from the cooler condenser assembly.
Remove the O-ring from the liquid tube sub-assembly B.
Note
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.
REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
Disengage the 2 claws.
Disengage the 2 guides and remove the cooler condenser assembly.
Note
Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly or radiator assembly when removing the cooler condenser assembly.
