PRECAUTION FOR COMBUSTION TYPE POWER HEATER SYSTEM
Do not touch the combustion heater or its exhaust pipe because they are hot.
Keep flammables such as fuel away from the combustion heater and its exhaust pipe. Items that come into contact with the combustion heater and its exhaust pipe may cause a fire.
Do not use improper fuels because these may shorten the life of the combustion heater, or may cause either corrosion or noise when the combustion heater ignites.
Do not turn the combustion heater on and off repeatedly at intervals of 5 minutes or less, because this may shorten the life of the heater components. If the engine is turned on and off repeatedly in short intervals (such as when the vehicle is being used as a delivery vehicle), turn the combustion heater off.
Be careful not to splash water or spill liquid directly on the combustion heater or on the heater pump assembly. This may cause the heater to malfunction.
Keep the air duct and exhaust pipes of the combustion heater free from water, snow, ice, mud, etc. If the pipes become clogged, these can cause the heater to malfunction.
