AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM(for Automatic Air Conditioning System) PTC Heater Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The No. 2 integration relay is controlled in accordance with signals from the air conditioning amplifier assembly and power is supplied to the quick heater assembly installed on the radiator heater unit.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Air Conditioner / Active Test.

    5. According to the display on the intelligent tester, perform the Active Test.

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below while performing the Active Test.

  2. INSPECT QUICK HEATER ASSEMBLY

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Disconnect the A44 quick heater assembly connector.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Start the engine.

    4. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Body / Air Conditioner / Active Test.

    6. According to the display on the intelligent tester, perform the Active Test.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Remove the No. 2 integration relay from the No. 2 engine room relay block.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

  6. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Remove the No. 2 integration relay from the No. 2 engine room relay block.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Start the engine.

    4. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Body / Air Conditioner / Active Test.

    6. According to the display on the intelligent tester, perform the Active Test.

    1. Remove the No. 2 integration relay from the No. 2 engine room relay block.

    2. Disconnect the F42 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
