FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY(for Driver Side) REMOVAL

CAUTION:

Note

Always use "TORX" socket wrench E10 when removing the front seat.

Tech Tips

The procedure described below is for the LHD. Use the same procedure for both RHD and LHD, unless otherwise specified.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for 5 Door)

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 5 clamps. (w/o Seat Heater System)

    2. A004AC7

      Disengage the 5 clamps. (w/ Seat Heater System)

    3. Disconnect the seat heater connector. (w/ Seat Heater System)

    4. A0049FH

      Remove the wire harness from the 2 clamps of the front seat cushion shield.

    5. Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt assembly.
