Always use "TORX" socket wrench E10 when removing the front seat.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD (OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR) (except GRMN)


    1. Engage the 15 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad (occupant detection sensor).

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR) (for GRMN)


    1. Engage the 5 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad (occupant detection sensor).

      Engage the 2 hooks.

    3. Engage the guide to install the connector.

  3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (except GRMN)

  12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
