  • Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

Note

Always use "TORX" socket wrench E10 when removing the front seat.

Tech Tips

The procedure described below is for the driver side. Use the same procedure for both the driver and front passenger sides, unless otherwise specified.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

  3. REMOVE SEAT TRACK OUTER COVER LH

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

  6. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH (for Driver Side)

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (for LHD)

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the 15 hooks to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover (front seat cushion heater) from the separate type front seat cushion pad.
