  • The procedure described below is for the LHD side. Use the same procedure for both the LHD and RHD side, unless otherwise specified.

  • The procedure described below is for the driver side. Use the same procedure for both the driver and front passenger sides, unless otherwise specified.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SEAT COVER STRAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the hook and pass the seat cover strap sub-assembly through the slit in the seat back board to remove it.

  2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw to remove the reclining adjuster release handle LH.

  3. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw and the vertical adjusting handle LH.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and clip to remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD LH

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat cushion inner shield LH.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD

      Disengage the 2 hooks to separate the front seatback board band.

      Unfasten the hook and loop fastener.

      Disengage the 4 hooks.

    4. B004785

      Disengage the 7 clamps to separate the front seat side airbag wire harness.

      for Front Passenger Side:


      1. Disengage the guide to remove the occupant detection sensor connector.

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    7. Disengage the 5 hooks to remove the front seat cushion with cover pad.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B0045XN

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. B0047JH

      Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front seatback board sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. for Front Side:


      1. B0047VHC01
        *a Protective Tape

        Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 6 claws to remove the front seatback cover.

    2. for Rear Side:


      1. B0047HDC01
        *a Protective Tape

        Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 6 claws to remove the front seatback cover.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK WITH COVER PAD

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. B0045EF

      Disengage the 10 hooks.

    3. B00482G

      Remove the nut and the seatback cover bracket.

    4. Remove the front seatback with cover pad.

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. B0047Q3

      Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat side airbag assembly LH.

      CAUTION:


      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION LOWER SHIELD (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat cushion lower shield.

  14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Diseagage the guide to remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  15. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION LOWER SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the clip to remove the front seat cushion lower shield RH.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION LOWER SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the clip to remove the front seat cushion lower shield LH.

  18. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat cushion edge protector RH.

  19. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat cushion edge protector LH.

  20. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat cushion edge protector RH.

  21. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat cushion edge protector LH.

  22. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts and the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  23. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

  24. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

      Disengage the 2 hooks to remove the seat track adjusting handle.
