      Component without harness connected

      (Pre-crash Safety System Cancel Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      4 (ECU) - 1 (GND) Pre-crash safety system cancel switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      Pre-crash safety system cancel switch on Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the pre-crash safety system cancel switch.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the pre-crash safety system cancel switch and check that it illuminates.

      OK
      Tester Connection Switch Condition
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (ILL+) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (ILL-) Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the pre-crash safety system cancel switch.
