  1. METER GAUGE AND WARNING INDICATOR

    Meter/Gauge
    Item Signal Description
    Speedometer Indicates vehicle speed based on signals received from brake actuator assembly (CAN).
    Tachometer Indicates engine speed based on signals from ECM (CAN).
    Fuel Gauge Indicates fuel level in accordance with signals received from fuel sender gauge (Direct line).
    ODO/TRIP meter Calculates accumulated total vehicle travel distance and vehicle travel distance since mode switch pressed.

    • Receives parking brake switch signal from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) (CAN).

    • Receives malfunction signal from brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).

    ABS Receives malfunction signal from brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).
    OIL PRESSURE

    except 1ND-TV with DPF:

    Receives engine oil pressure warning signal from engine oil pressure switch (Direct line).

    for 1ND-TV with DPF:

    Receives engine oil pressure warning signal from ECM (CAN).

    MIL Receives malfunction check engine warning signal from ECM (Direct line).
    D+P BELT
    • Receives driver seat belt warning signal (unfastened) from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) (CAN).

    • Receives front passenger seat belt warning signal (unfastened) from front seat inner belt assembly (for front passenger side) (Direct line).

    AIRBAG Receives malfunction signal from airbag ECU assembly (CAN).
    Engine coolant temperature HOT Receives engine coolant temperature signal from ECM (CAN).
    Engine coolant temperature COOL Receives engine coolant temperature signal from ECM (CAN).
    CHARGE Receives malfunction signal from ECM (CAN).
    DOOR Open door indicator illuminates when receiving signal from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) (CAN).
    FUEL Receives remaining fuel signal from fuel sender gauge assembly (Direct line).
    EPS Receives malfunction signal from power steering ECU (CAN).
    CVT SPORT*9 Receives CVT sport indicator signal from ECM (CAN).
    VSC OFF*3 Receives VSC off signal from brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).
    SLIP*3 Receives malfunction signal from brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).
    TRC OFF*3 Receives TRC off signal from brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).
    ENTRY KEY*4 Receives signal from certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) (CAN).
    GLOW*5 Receives the glow signal from the ECM (CAN).
    SEDIMENT*5 Receives sediment signal from level warning switch (Direct line).
    OIL LEVEL*5 Receives the engine oil level signal from engine oil level sensor (Direct line).
    OIL MAINTENANCE*5 Calculates accumulated total vehicle travel distance.
    CRUISE*10 Receives cruise main indicator signal from ECM (CAN).
    CRUISE SET*10 Receives cruise set indicator signal from ECM (CAN).
    ASL*11 Receives ASL main indicator signal from ECM (CAN).
    DPF WARNING*5 Receives DPF status signal from the ECM (CAN).
    ECO*6 Receives ecology light indicator signal from the ECM (CAN) and illuminates when the vehicle is being driven ECO-friendly.
    Gear Shift Indicator (Shift UP/DOWN)*7 Receives shift up/down signal from the ECM (CAN).
    Stop and start cancel*8 Receives eco off indicator light signal from the engine stop and start ECU (CAN).
    Stop and start*8 Receives ECO indicator light signal from the engine stop and start ECU (CAN).
    P shift position indicator*9 Receives a P signal from the ECM (CAN).
    R shift position indicator*9 Receives an R signal from the ECM (CAN).
    N shift position indicator*9 Receives an N signal from the ECM (CAN).
    D shift position indicator*9

    Receives a D signal from the ECM (CAN).

    During oil level confirmation mode, receives an A/T oil temperature signal and indicates the A/T oil temperature by turning off / blinking / turning on the shift position D indicator.

    Transaxle range indicator (1 to 7)*9 Receives a signal (1 to 7) from the ECM (CAN).
    Mode indicator*9 Receives a mode signal from the ECM (CAN).
    TIRE PRESSURE*1 Receives malfunction signal from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) (CAN).
    Automatic high beam indicator*12 Receives automatic high beam indicator signal from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) (CAN).
    PCS warning*12 Receives PCS warning signal or off signal from pre-crash safety city sensor (CAN).

    Buzzer
    Item Signal Description
    LIGHT Reminder Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is off, light control switch is in TAIL position, and driver side door is open.
    KEY Reminder*1 Buzzer ON: Ignition switch is off, key is inserted, and driver side door is open.
    Seat Belt Warning (driver and passenger seat belt) Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is ON, driver or passenger seat belt is unfastened, and vehicle speed is 20 km/h (12.4 mph) or more.
    Seat Belt Warning (rear seat belt)*2 Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is ON, rear seat belt is unfastened, and vehicle speed is 20 km/h (12.4 mph) or more.
    ENTRY KEY Warning*3 Buzzer ON: Receives signal from certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).
    PKB Reminder Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is ON, parking brake is operating, and vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3.1 mph) or more.
    Immobiliser*3 Buzzer ON: Receives signal from certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).
    Sports shift reject Buzzer ON: Receives signal from the ECM.
    EPS buzzer Buzzer ON: Receives signal from the power steering ECU assembly.
    Warning of driving with door open Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is ON, vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3.1 mph) or more, and each door is open.
    Lane departure alert warning buzzer*4 Buzzer ON: Receives Lane departure alert warning buzzer signal from pre-crash safety city sensor (CAN).
    Meter buzzer*4 Buzzer ON: Receives Buzzer control flag signal from precollision safety city sensor (CAN).

  2. LED CHECK


    1. Check the indicator/warning light operation according to the condition(s) in the table below.

      Indicator/Warning Light Specification
      BRAKE, ABS, VSC OFF*5, SLIP, TRC OFF, TIRE PRESSURE*6, OIL LEVEL*1, OIL MAINTENANCE*1, DPF*1, ECO*2, SEDIMENTER*1, Engine coolant temperature HOT Indicator/Warning light comes on for about 3 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON.
      AIRBAG Warning light comes on for about 6 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON.
      OIL PRESSURE, CHECK ENGINE, CHARGE, EPS, ECO*3, SHIFT UP/DOWN*4 Indicator/Warning light comes on after turning the ignition switch to ON and the indicator light goes off after the engine starts.
