PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Data List.

    5. According to the display on the intelligent tester, read the Data List.

    INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect the front door lock assembly (Click here).


  3. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the H5 or G5 front door lock assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the F76 main body ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      H5-8 (LSSR) - F76-7 (LSFL) Always Below 1 Ω
      H5-8 (LSSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H5-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    1. Inspect the rear door lock assembly (Click here).


  5. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the J3 or I3 rear door lock assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the 3D instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    2. Remove the main body ECU from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
