PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Data List.

    5. According to the display on the intelligent tester, read the Data List.

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the K1 front door courtesy light switch assembly LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the 3D instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K1-1 - 3D-36 Always Below 1 Ω
      K1-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    2. Remove the main body ECU from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    1. Disconnect K2 front door courtesy light switch assembly RH connector.

    2. Disconnect the F76 main body ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K2-1 - F76-19 (FRCY) Always Below 1 Ω
      K2-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (Click here)

      REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    1. Inspect the rear door courtesy light switch assembly (Click here).

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU)


    1. Disconnect K3 or K4 rear door courtesy light switch assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the F76 main body ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the P12 back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch) connector.

    2. Disconnect the 3D instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P12-3 (D+) - 3D-35 Always Below 1 Ω
      P12-3 (D+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P12-2 (ACT-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
