LIGHTING SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK


  1. CHECK ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM OPERATION

    Note

    Perform this inspection with the customize parameters at the initial setting.


    1. The operation and condition of this control are described below.

      Operation Condition Lighting
      Fade in and illuminate constantly Any door is opened when all the doors are closed.

      • Map Light Assembly

      • Engine Switch*1

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly*3
      Illuminate for 15 seconds, and then fade out The key enters any actuation area around the doors when the engine switch is off and all the doors are closed.*1

      • Map Light Assembly

      • Engine Switch

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly*3

      When any of the following conditions is met:


      • The driver door, passenger door or rear door*4*5 is unlocked when the ignition switch is off and all the doors are closed and the driver door, passenger door and rear doors*4*5 are locked.

      • The ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off when all doors are closed.

      • All the doors are closed when any door is opened and the ignition switch is off.

      • Map Light Assembly

      • Engine Switch*1

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly*3
      Fade out immediately The ignition switch is turned from off to ACC or ON when all the doors are closed.

      • Map Light Assembly

      • Engine Switch*1

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly*3
      The driver door, passenger door and rear doors*4*5 are locked when the ignition switch is off, all the doors are closed and the driver door, passenger door or rear door*4*5 is unlocked.

      • Map Light Assembly

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly*3
      Battery Saving When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is outside the vehicle exterior detection area, the illumination turns off.*1

      When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is not in the ignition key cylinder, the illumination turns off.*2
