LIGHTING SYSTEM SYSTEM DESCRIPTION


  1. ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM


    1. The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:

      Control Outline Light that Operates
      Actuation Area-linked*1 When a registered key enters any detection area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Map light assembly

      • Engine switch

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly*3
      Door Open-linked When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Map light assembly

      • Engine switch*1

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly*3
      Door Close-linked When all doors are closed, the lights that operate illuminate for 15 seconds and then turn off.

      • Map light assembly

      • Engine switch*1

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly*3
      Door Lock-linked When the driver door, passenger door and rear doors*4*5 are locked, the lights that operate turn off.

      • Map light assembly

      • Engine switch*1

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly*3
      When the driver door, passenger door or rear door*4*5 is unlocked, the lights that operate illuminate for 15 seconds and then turn off.

      Engine Switch-linked*1

      Ignition Switch-linked*2

      		 When the ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Map light assembly

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly*3
      When the ignition switch is turned from off to ACC or ON, the lights that operate turn off.

      • Map light assembly

      Battery Saving When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is outside the vehicle exterior detection area, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off.*1

      When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is not in the ignition key cylinder, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off.*2

  2. INTERIOR LIGHT AUTO CUT SYSTEM (for TMMF Made)


    1. The interior light auto cut system has the following control function:

    Operation Condition Light that Operates
    Interior Light Auto Cut

    When 20 minutes elapse after the ignition switch is turned from on (ACC or IG) to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.

    Tech Tips

    Interior light auto cut system is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by interior light auto cut system. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.


    • The ignition switch is turned on (ACC or IG)

    • Any door is opened or closed (including the back door)

    • Any door is unlocked

    • The key enters any detection area*2
