BACK DOOR LOCK INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made)

   
   

   1. Check the operation of the back door lock motor.

      *c	Component without harness connected (Back Door Lock Assembly)

      
      

      1. Move the back door lock to the lock position.

      2. Apply the battery voltage and check the operation of the back door lock motor.

         OK
         Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 1 (ACT+) Battery negative (-) → 2 (ACT-) Locked → Unlocked

         
         

         • If the result is not as specified, replace the back door lock assembly.

2. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (for TMMF Made)

   
   

   1. Check the operation of the back door lock motor.

      1. Move the back door lock to the lock position.

      2. Apply the battery voltage and check the operation of the back door lock motor.

         OK
         Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 1 (ACT+) Battery negative (-) → 2 (ACT-) Locked → Unlocked

         
         

         • If the result is not as specified, replace the back door lock assembly.
