PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Power Window)

      *b LOCK
      *c UNLOCK

      for LHD:


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 (L) - 7 (GND) LOCK Below 1 Ω
        OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        9 (UL) - 7 (GND) UNLOCK Below 1 Ω
        OFF 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator master switch.

      for RHD:


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 (L) - 7 (GND) LOCK Below 1 Ω
        OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        3 (UL) - 7 (GND) UNLOCK Below 1 Ω
        OFF 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator master switch.

  2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Power Window)

        OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        9 (UL) - 1 (GND) UNLOCK Below 1 Ω
        OFF 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator master switch.

        OFF 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator master switch.

  3. INSPECT DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Window)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      4 (L) - 3 (E) LOCK Below 1 Ω
      OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      2 (UL) - 3 (E) UNLOCK Below 1 Ω
      OFF 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the door control switch.
