  1. EXPRESSIONS OF IGNITION SWITCH

    The type of ignition switch used on this model differs according to the specifications of the vehicle. The expressions listed in the table below are used in this section.

  2. PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. When using the intelligent tester to troubleshoot with the ignition switch off:

      Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3, and turn the courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the intelligent tester and vehicle begins.

    2. After all DTCs are cleared, check if the trouble occurs again 6 seconds after the ignition switch ON.
