GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Temporarily install the generator assembly and alternator tensioner bracket slider with the 2 bolts.

   2. Connect the connector.

   3. Install the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.

      Torque:

      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

   4. Install the terminal cap

2. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

3. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR

   Click here

6. INSTALL HEADLAMP UNIT ASSEMBLY LH

7. INSTALL HEADLAMP UNIT ASSEMBLY RH

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Torque:

   5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
