GENERATOR(for TMMF Made except Cold Area Specification Vehicles) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE GENERATOR PULLEY CAP

      *1 Generator Pulley Cap

      Using a screwdriver, remove the generator pulley cap.

  2. REMOVE GENERATOR WITH CLUTCH PULLEY


    1. Mount the generator assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

      Note

      Do not damage the generator.

      *1 T50 "TORX" Socket Wrench

      Install SST and a T50 "TORX" socket wrench to the pulley as shown in the illustration.

      *a Hold
      *b Turn

      Hold SST in place, and rotate the T50 "TORX" socket wrench clockwise to loosen the generator with clutch pulley.

    4. Remove the generator pulley with clutch.
