GENERATOR(for TMC Made except Cold Area Specification Vehicles) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

  4. REMOVE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE

  6. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the terminal cap.

    2. Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.

    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors and 2 clamps.

    4. A01VERC

      Remove the 3 bolts and 2 wire harness brackets.

    5. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

    6. A01VHI6

      Remove the 2 bolts and the generator assembly.
