GENERATOR(for DENSO Made) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

  4. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

      Remove the terminal cap.

    2. B0046YI

      Remove the nut to disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.

    3. Disengage the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness from the 2 wire harness clamp brackets.

    4. Disconnect the compressor with pulley assembly connector.

      Remove the 3 bolts, generator bracket and generator assembly from the timing chain or belt cover sub-assembly.

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 wire harness clamp brackets from the generator assembly.
