GENERATOR(for TMC Made except Cold Area Specification Vehicles) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

    A01VL11

    1. Provisionally install the generator with the fixing bolt.

    2. A01VF98E02

      Provisionally install the fan belt adjusting slider with fan belt adjusting slider fixing bolts A and B, then move the generator toward the cylinder block and tighten bolt B.

      Torque:
      34 N*m  { 347 kgf*cm, 25 ft.*lbf }
    3. A01VHCZ

      Install the connector and 2 wire harness clamps.

    4. Install terminal B with the nut.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    5. Install the terminal cap.

  2. INSTALL FAN & GENERATOR V BELT

  3. INSPECT FAN & GENERATOR V BELT

    Click here

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
