GENERATOR(for VALEO Made) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH

      *a T50 "TORX" Socket Wrench

      Set SST and a T50 "TORX" socket wrench as shown in the illustration.

      SST

    2. Secure the generator assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

      Note

      Do not overtighten the vise.

      *c T50 "TORX" Socket Wrench

      While holding SST in place, rotate the T50 "TORX" socket wrench counterclockwise, and install the generator pulley with clutch.

      Torque:
      80 N*m  { 816 kgf*cm, 59 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Check that the generator assembly is secured in the vise tightly.

    4. Remove the generator assembly from the vise.

  2. INSTALL GENERATOR PULLEY CAP


    1. Install a new generator pulley cap to the generator pulley with clutch.
