GENERATOR(for VALEO Made) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE GENERATOR PULLEY CAP

      *1 Generator Pulley Cap

      Using a screwdriver, remove the generator pulley cap from the generator pulley with clutch.

  2. REMOVE GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH

      *a T50 "TORX" Socket Wrench

      Set SST and a T50 "TORX" socket wrench as shown in the illustration.

    2. Secure the generator assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

      Note

      Do not overtighten the vise.

      *c T50 "TORX" Socket Wrench

      While holding SST in place, rotate the T50 "TORX" socket wrench clockwise, and remove the generator pulley with clutch from the generator assembly.

      Note

      Check that the generator assembly is secured in the vise tightly.

    4. Remove the generator assembly from the vise.
