NAVIGATION SYSTEM Display Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Extension Module

DESCRIPTION

The circuit sends a display signal from the navigation ECU to the radio and display receiver assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NAVIGATION ECU)


    1. Disconnect the z10 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the z8 navigation ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      z10-12 (R) - z8-7 (R) Always Below 1 Ω
      z10-11 (G) - z8-23 (G) Always Below 1 Ω
      z10-10 (B) - z8-6 (B) Always Below 1 Ω
      z10-7 (HSYN) - z8-22 (HSYN) Always Below 1 Ω
      z10-6 (VSYN) - z8-5 (VSYN) Always Below 1 Ω
      z10-8 (AGND) - z8-20 (AGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      z10-12 (R) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z10-11 (G) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z10-10 (B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z10-7 (HSYN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z10-6 (VSYN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z10-8 (AGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
