NAVIGATION SYSTEM Sound Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Jack Adapter

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends an external device sound signal to the radio and display receiver assembly through this circuit.

If there is an open or short in the circuit, sound cannot be heard from the speakers even if there is no malfunction in the stereo component amplifier assembly*1, radio and display receiver assembly, extension module or speakers.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the F115 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the F53 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F115-26 (VAR+) - F53-5 (ARO) Always Below 1 Ω
      F115-28 (VAL+) - F53-6 (ALO) Always Below 1 Ω
      F115-27 (VA-) - F53-7 (ASGN) Always Below 1 Ω
      F115-25 (ADPG) - F53-8 (AUXO) Always Below 1 Ω
      F115-11 (AGND) - F53-9 (AGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      F115-26 (VAR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F115-28 (VAL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F115-27 (VA-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F115-25 (ADPG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F115-11 (AGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
