AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM(for Radio Receiver Type) Sound Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Jack Adapter

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends an external device sound signal to the radio receiver assembly through this circuit.

If there is an open or short in the circuit, sound cannot be heard from the speakers even if there is no malfunction in the radio receiver assembly or speakers.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the F47 and F118 radio receiver assembly connectors.

    2. Disconnect the F53 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      F47-26 (VAR+) - F53-5 (ARO) Always Below 1 Ω
      F47-28 (VAL+) - F53-6 (ALO) Always Below 1 Ω
      F47-27 (VA-) - F53-7 (ASGN) Always Below 1 Ω
      F47-25 (ADPG) - F53-8 (AUXO) Always Below 1 Ω
      F47-11 (AGND) - F53-9 (AGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      F118-2 - F53-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      F118-3 - F53-3 Always Below 1 Ω
      F47-26 (VAR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F47-28 (VAL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F47-27 (VA-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F47-25 (ADPG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F47-11 (AGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F118-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F118-3 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F118-5 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
