Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH side.
The procedure described below is for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
INSTALL REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING
Clean the vehicle body surface.
Using an infrared light, heat any new rear door outside moulding and adhesive remaining on the vehicle body.

CAUTION:
Do not burn yourself on the hot rear door panel or with the infrared light.
Note
Do not heat the vehicle body excessively.
Using a piece of cloth, rub the remaining rear door outside moulding and adhesive off the vehicle body.
Using a non-residue solvent, clean the attachment surface.

Install the rear door outside moulding as shown in the illustration.

Note
Install the rear door outside moulding in an environment where the ambient temperature is over 20°C (68°F). If it is below 20°C (68°F), using an infrared light, heat the rear door panel sub-assembly and the rear door outside moulding to 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) and install the rear door outside moulding.
