Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH side.
The procedure described below is for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING

Apply protective tape to the vehicle body in the area around the rear door outside moulding.
Using an infrared light, heat the vehicle body and rear door outside moulding.

CAUTION:
Do not burn yourself on the hot vehicle body or with the infrared light.
Note
Do not heat the vehicle body and rear door outside moulding.
Pass a piano wire between the vehicle body and the rear door outside moulding.

Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example wooden blocks) to both wire ends.
Pull piano wire and scrape off the double-sided adhesive tape that holds the vehicle body and rear door outside moulding.
Note
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
Remove the rear door outside moulding.
