NAME PLATE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM

      Apply protective tape to the back door panel in the area around the symbol emblem.

    2. Pass a piano wire between the vehicle body and symbol emblem.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

    4. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the symbol emblem to the vehicle body.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    5. Remove the symbol emblem.

  2. REMOVE NO. 6 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE

      Apply protective tape to the back door panel in the area around the No. 6 back door name plate.

    2. Pass a piano wire between the vehicle body and No. 6 back door name plate.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

    4. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the No. 6 back door name plate to the vehicle body.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    5. Remove the No. 6 back door name plate.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE

      Apply protective tape to the back door panel in the area around the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.

    2. Pass a piano wire between the vehicle body and No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

    4. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate to the vehicle body.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    5. Remove the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.
