REAR SPOILER(except GRMN) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SPOILER COVER LH


    1. B0047QTC01
      *a Moulding Remover

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear spoiler cover LH.

  2. REMOVE REAR SPOILER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B0046B7

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Using an infrared light, heat the rear spoiler.

      Item Temperature
      Vehicle Body and Rear Spoiler 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)

      CAUTION:

      Do not burn yourself on the hot body panel or with the infrared light.

      Tech Tips

      Do not heat the vehicle body excessively.

    3. While pulling the rear spoiler towards the back of the vehicle, disengage the 4 clips and pin while peeling off the double-sided tape. Then remove the rear spoiler.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 MOULDING TAPE

      Remove the No. 1 moulding tape.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 MOULDING TAPE

      Remove the 3 No. 2 moulding tapes.

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 MOULDING TAPE

      Remove the No. 3 moulding tape.

  7. REMOVE NO. 4 MOULDING TAPE

      Remove the 3 No. 4 moulding tapes.
