FRONT STABILIZER BAR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VHWL

      As shown in the illustration, flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times before installing the nut.

    2. Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously at a rate of 0.25 to 0.5 turns per seconds and take the torque reading on the 5th turn.

      Torque:
      0.05 N*m  { 0.51 kgf*cm, 19.99 kgf*cm, 0.44 in.*lbf, 17.35 in.*lbf }

    3. Check for any cracks and grease leakage on the ball joint dust cover.
