SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. POSITION FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER (for TMC Made)

  5. REMOVE STEERING PAD (for TMC Made)

  6. REMOVE STEERING PAD (for TMMF Made)

  7. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  8. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Shift Paddle Switch)

  9. REMOVE SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 4 pins and remove the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assembly).

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH WIRE


    1. A01VLML

      Disengage the 6 guides to remove the shift paddle switch with No. 1 switch wire from the steering wheel assembly.

      Remove the 2 clamps.

    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors to remove the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assembly) from the No. 1 switch wire.
