SHIFT LEVER REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VK6F

      Engage the 3 claws to install the shift lock unit cover to the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly.

    2. A01VHUW

      Connect the shift lock solenoid connector.

    3. Engage the guide and 2 clamps to install the shift lock solenoid wire to the shift lock unit cover.

    4. A01VF15

      Engage the claw to install the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly with shift lock unit cover to the shift lock control unit assembly.

  2. INSTALL LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING


    1. A01VFNW

      Engage the 5 claws to install the lower position indicator housing to the shift lock control unit assembly.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER


    1. A01VETF

      Align the cutouts on the shank of the No. 2 position indicator slide cover and position indicator slide cover, and install the No. 2 position indicator slide cover to the position indicator slide cover.

  4. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER

      Install the position indicator slide cover to the position indicator light housing.

      Note

      Install the position indicator slide cover so that its arrow mark points to the front of the vehicle.

  5. INSTALL CONTROL POSITION INDICATOR PLATE

      Engage the claw to install the control position indicator plate to the upper position indicator housing.

  6. INSTALL UPPER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

      Engage the 4 claws to install the upper position indicator housing to the position indicator light housing.

  7. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT CAP


    1. Install the position indicator light cap to the position indicator light bulb.

  8. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT BULB


    1. Install the position indicator light bulb to the indicator light wire sub-assembly.

  9. INSTALL INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VFBN

      Turn the indicator light wire sub-assembly clockwise to install it to the position indicator light housing.

    2. Engage the 3 clamps to install the indicator light wire sub-assembly to the position indicator light housing.

  10. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VI6Q

      Engage the 4 claws to install the position indicator housing assembly to the transmission floor shift assembly.
