  1. INSPECT PATTERN SELECT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Pattern Select Switch Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      4 (MSW1) - 1 (MSW2) Switch ON Below 1 Ω
      Switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Apply battery voltage across the terminals of the connector, and check the illumination condition.

      OK
      Tester Connection Standard Condition

      Battery positive (+)→ 3 (MSW+)

      Battery negative (-)→ 2 (MSW-)

      		 Illuminates

      If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the pattern select switch assembly.
