SHIFT STROKE SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER BRACKET

    Click here

  7. REMOVE BATTERY

    Click here

  8. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

    Click here

  9. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER

    Click here

  10. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET


    1. Disconnect the connectors and separate the wire harness clamp.

    2. A0048A7

      Remove the bolt and the wire harness clamp bracket with wire harness.

  11. REMOVE SHIFT STROKE SENSOR


    1. A00491H

      Remove the 2 screws and the shift stroke sensor from the shift and select actuator assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the shift stroke sensor.
